About
The Full Story
I wrote a paper in college(post navy) about women during the previous wars. I discovered women had been cutting off their hair and disguising themselves as men to serve on the frontlines.
I joined the navy in 2010 at the age of 20. My first station was the Harry S. Truman CVN 75. From there I went to helmineron squadron 14. I was an Aviation Ordnancemen. Between both commands I experienced alot of negative encounters but also learned how to have a back bone. I made some amazing friendships which I still have to this day. I learned in the Navy that good leadership is the most important thing, becuase a leader with a bad skill set will trickle down like a bad hail storm everyday. I decided to get out and be a family oriented woman. But like most found myself wanting to get back to work. I worked in the medical field. Over 6 years I have worked in 3 offices and watched poor leadership hail down. Then Covid 19, everyone is working from home, my kids are home all the time. I thought to myself, I want to do more. I want to do something from home which can also do good. My end goal is grow my business enough to do veteran outreach work. I want my business to contribute to veterans everywhere. In deciding a business venture, i realized, female veterans just don't have their own shirts. We have the same 20 in almost every shirt shop or shirts in which the wording has been changed to include women. It's pretty obvious when the wording had been changed. I decided to start a business with female veterans are first.
